Delta probably has one of the worst reps (flying domestically in the US).
I thought it might be different flying internationally (Japan to Taiwan), but it was just as bad as I'd heard. The smell of jet fuel permeating the cabin, crying babies and kids horseplaying in the aisles, uncomfortable arrangements, etc. My photos from Japan and around the world: http://www.flickr.com/dylanwphotography |

Yeah, I even just Google'd "Delta Airline Reviews" for kicks, and the average ratings are like 2/5, 3.5/10, etc.

The biggest difference though is that I think there's a much larger consensus for the dislike of Delta though My photos from Japan and around the world: http://www.flickr.com/dylanwphotography |

The whole issue they had with the American Military also put a negative light on them.. |

This is the problem with the Internet. Everyone wants to know exactly what they are going to experience before they actually experience it. Convince yourself you are going to have a terrible flight, and surely you will. Go in with an open mind, and it might be the flight of your life.

Also, I read a lot that cash (or the lack of it) is an issue when traveling so if your cash strapped then just as long as both propellers work on the plane who cares if there's livestock staring at you |
