What about Sumo wrestlers? I've seen big people in Japan I've seen tall Chines girls and boys (Yao Ming). It has allot to do with your genes and your metabolism, and family history. There's junk food in Japan Ramen noodles any one? Pokey? And I see allot of the rockers smoke so do all Japanese people smoke? Will all of Japanese people die because of it? I think before we assume we should look into it.
Waite, hold up! Some one dose not care if girls throw up to look good? Gross! where is a REAL man who likes girls with REAL bodies? Gerad, your so shallow I would never date you! I would tell those super skinny models to go grab a sandwich if their real body weight should be 150 and they are 6'1 and big boned. No one that tall should be 100 pounds or lighter! Some one small boned,5'2 or lower yes they should be 100 pounds or lighter. |

There's not really anything in them but salt and flour...so no one is getting overweight off of instant ramen, though, yes, they aren't really that good for you. Hey, some people are big boned and can't help being fat or chubby and not all fat people eat at Mac D's did you know way back then big was beautiful and it represent wealth. Skinny meant you were poor. Just look at Ruben's paintings look how big the girls were, I use to be overweight and it was tough because guys were so shallow and I would like to find a guy who's not and will not care how much you weigh! I lost 40+ pounds I still need to work on my body to be more fit but it was tough for me when I was growing up being teased because of my weight wishing that I could be perfect like those people in the magazines.
Just because your skinny dose not make you healthy, why is it OK for a guy to be fat or chubby, but not for a girl?, And how come guys view fat or chubby girls ugly? some of them are fit but are fat or chubby. I Hate to say it but I think men in the media likes little boys, so We have to make our selves into boys. Well you know what?! We Girls have hips and curves and we are not little boys! We are girls and the world should change the views of the media, and girls around us that it is OK to look like a Woman with all of the features that it brings, we are not Boys! I hope we can change the views before it is too late before they throw up before they kill them selves or have low self esteem like I did. It's sad but true I still think boys only like skinny girls. Also people tie in that skinny=pretty and fat=ugly and thats what was drilled into our heads at an early age when we see those models and those movie and TV stars grace are eyes with those so called perfect bodies . So Thats what I think if any one else like to hear my views You can PM any time... |

You Pig! You need some meat on your bones, because if there is a wind storm you might get blown away!!! Your not so hot your self. You see ugly things and that means you are a very ugly person on the inside and thats the worst kind of ugly to be. Get rid of the hate bring some love into your heart and your ugly world.

I think genetics do come into this as well. I have friends who eat rather average, yet they gain quiet weight quickly. They're chinese as well. Also, age comes into consideration. Once you reach 18, it's harder for you loose weight and maintain weight. Quiet frankly, I've accidently skipped lunch couple of times, and the stomach pain is unbearable. So, now, I've learnt that it's best to eat something for lunch, other wise, you'll get unbearable stomach cramps. I rather have a healthy weight, then underweight.

Just to add, I think that being "skinny" and "pretty" can have its negatives, because when you are viewed this way it's very hard to find someone who is genuine or friends that love them for who they are, as you can see by some of the ignorant posts by someone, saying he wanted a skinny girl even if she was bulemic. However, the girls who are able to exhibit their unique qualities, despite how they are looked down upon by the ignorance of the media, those girls are able to find genuine love or acceptance easier because those that do accept them, accept them because of something that goes deeper than just a pretty face |

What are two things usually associated with asian food(stariotypically)? Rice...and noodles... Rice has an excellent source of niacin and a moderate source of protein, thiamin and iron. It also has fiber and other vitamins. and what does fiber do? Well..if you are unaware..Fiber plays a HUUUGE roll in the bodies digestive system....which helps keep a healthy metabolism -.- hmm...lets talk about noodles then..Again..Fiber...egg noodles actually have double the fiber as rice. and ontop of fiber, noodles are an excellent source of Selenium, Thiamine, and Folate and some Niacin. Look of the vitamins if you want..Cause I dont wanna spam the thead with info on healthy foods. Now...that alone..is just in the rice and noodles. NOT including any sauces, or meats or vegitables that are usualy present in asian meals. Ameican food usualy consists of something like a fat juicy medium rare steak soaked in a boat load of grease then served with a brick of butter in your mashed potatoes and a soda...Which usualy gets refilled about 2-3 times before a nice milkshake or slice of pie/cake XD Yes, some people cannot help how their bodies are built..But it doesnt mean they cant eat healthy to STOP their bodies from continuously gaining unwanted weight. The Japanese arent 'thin' they just have a really petite bone structure compared to...let's say the german. but everyone can lose weight and stay fit if they truely wanted to. |
