Oooo touche Jaydelart

I should probably post something relevant right about now...

Anyways, on the global warming front, my mum has been a member of Greenpeace for a long time now, and they seem to think it's serious. The seas are definatly warming up, but whether this is mainly caused by humans is debatable. Of course some of it is our fault. How much is the question.

Actually I don't much care what percentage of the problem humans are. The The simple fact that we are any percentage of the problem means we have a responsibility to work to ease the problem, not just try not to be the largest percentage.

Oh, I understand. But I'd still like to know what comprises the other 70%, theoretically.

It all depends on what percentage the humans are responsible for... Saying a random figure like 30% doesn't mean anything, and if humans were contributing to this Global warming, it'd be either much higher than 30% or much less... If it's much less, it's ridiculous to think that what we're doing will in fact change anything, and the same goes for if it's much higher, because news flash, green energy isn't so green

be responsible for a 30% or 70% does not change the problem, WE WILL STILL ON THE PLANET ...Wht we have to do is to find solutions and not considered our degrees of influence or involvement in the Global Warming...its too late now we have already done huge damage, and nature has not helped us a lot but we must try to "fix" our mistake, looking back .. never really helped anyone ...

I Honestly, seriously and truly.....don't care about U

I'd like to know who came up with that figure and HOW they came up with it!!! Saying any percentage like that is absolutely ridiculous... To measure the human's contribution to Global warming and/or the environment isn't a simple task... There are thousands of factors to include!!!... The closest we've come to getting that, is simply measuring how much CO2 we produce... if you're talking about that percentage, then 30% is by far tooooooooo much....

Why does our human responsiblity matter?

Whether we are captains or passengers on the ship, doing what you can to keep it from sinking makes 100% sense.

If I were on the Titanic I wouldn't ask "Did we crash into the iceburg, or did the iceburg crash into us?" I would ask "How can we keep this ship from sinking?"
