I know the people well, I have traveled the whole country, and from what I have seen there are few people that like me. But the truth is, they are all the stupid ones. Say all this bad stuff about me on TV and stuff, but they are weak, they are cowards, the entire country does nothing but strive for and embrace their own weakness. Almost every single person in that country is afraid. Now they are afraid of me. I see it in their eyes. They will all talk about me behind my back, but when we meet face to face they try and slam the door in my face and lock it behind them... Hm, but I guess anywhere I go people are afraid...

what did you do for you to be on tv? did you try to kill someone or something???????

That's a very good reason you're in Thailand. If that's your [grossly exaggerated] impression of the people of this country, I say stay out. If anything you'd be the one "afraid" and the majority aren't like what you perceive.

Perhaps I've gotten the wrong impression...? Perhaps you're an ass.

One that came to mind, a famous example, Kylie Minogue. She fought and overcame cancer and is currently touring the world. The music industry is strong in Australia as it is in many other countries.
Also, so many people I know like in school try so hard, and some are absolute geniouses. As are many other students from all over.

I feel a hint of generalisation from your end of the thread. And by hint I mean bus-smack.

It not just Australia, most countries, most people. The world has lost its edge, Africa is about the last place on earth where people have stomachs now. I am not talking about persistence with homework. Like, man once was a beast, a killer, like a wolf. But people have changed in the new world, and now are more like deer. No longer carnivores, even though they still eat meat. I have seen it, with a knife in their face there are few people in Australia who can rise up and be independant in that situation. Instead of fighting back against a killer, even if they might loose, like a cheeta would to a lion, they are now flocked by their fear, like a flock of sheep. Do you honestly disagree that?
Tenchu, i think you were born in the wrong century.............. I think you'd fit in perfectly with your ideals back in the day, when war was war, and to keep alive you had to fight for your life!!!!!

Dude, get with the times, and get with reality. It seems as if you're stuck in some action-movie-land fantasy. And what does a conversation about Australia have to do with how this world is so screwed up, through your eyes?

:\

Indeed it doesn't, but in these times all that crap you were talking about is redundant! Hence my saying 'get with the times'!

Exhibit A:
"Like, man once was a beast, a killer, like a wolf. Do you honestly disagree that?"

That sort of crap [knife in face] doesn't happen commonly enough for the whole race to need to 'rise to the occasion'. We adapt to that which we need to, not what you think we should. Why the hell would we want even more violent and bloodthirsty people in society anyway? We have enough and the effects are horrible: unnecessary death of innocent people.

Now are you finished, or are we going to continue to debate the ins and outs of reality?
