I liked Jackie Chan more personally, not cos he is comedic but cos he never used wires as much as Jet Li. Jet Li has some awesome films though but they both do. Drunken Master is one of my favourites from Jackie Chan. The newer one is also awesome, as well as stuff like Police Story. Jet Li's, Once Upon A Time In China movies are awesome. Also The Last Hero In China is funny and has great Kung Fu in it.

If I would have to place a large sum of money on the winner of a fight between these two men when they were in their prime, I would bet Jet, but only because by the time he was 20 he was 5 times world Wushu champion. He used to fight, Jackie was more an artist than a Warrior, like Jet. However, I still idolize Jackies precision, and have no doubt that it is contest enough against Jets skill that in reality, is too close to call. Good match that one.

I dunno, is there some other reason you think Jet Li would win other than him being Wushu champion? Jackie Chan was a stunt man in some Bruce Lee movies afterall and he was also a member of the Chinese Circus since he was a kid and quite successful at it.
Being Wushu champion doesn't mean you can fight well. It is just a form of moves, not techniques of fighting.

Really but, if it was not fights, and they were both just skilled at forms and dummy work and so on, I would go Jackie for sure. I was under the impression Jet was a fighter. I will have to research this.

It's 50% true. A wushu champion has to win both fights and exhibition styles

The fact he won the wushu championship gold medals for sparring forms kinda makes me think he must have fought lol

Hmmmmmmm...........Jet Li he's seems to be serious in his movies, but then again Jackie Chan has funny movies, like Tuxedo. OMG I can't decide. I say both are the same level.
