Nigerian man allowed to stay in Japan - 02-23-2007, 12:50 PM

Friday, February 23, 2007
The Fukuoka High Court on Thursday nullified an immigration authorities' decision to evict a Nigerian man, saying deportation will lead to a decisive breakup of his marriage to a Japanese woman and it will be extremely unsound.

After coming to know the woman in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, in October 2004, the 42-year-old man visited her father to seek his agreement on their marriage in January 2005, but the father reported him to the police who eventually arrested him for overstaying.

If they really love each other, nothing should come in between them..

I want to say fathers threat their sons like little princes, too, and that mine does.. but somehow, for guys, it just doesnt sound right... O_O don't worry too much abt it tho.. it's a guy thing

anyways, bk on track - The best thing a parent can give their child is happiness. If she's happy with the guy, if her parents mean well, then why not? Unless the guy's a dangerous serial murderer/raper, i don't see much of a problem..

Either that, or the father just can't bear to see his daughter marrying someone from an unprestigious family, or he simply isn't ready to let go..
some parents are like that.. they think happiness ceoms from wealth, fame, riches, luxury, etcetc. How wrong they are... *shakes head*
