Ummm. I'm going to burst your bubble komitsuki.

A poll of thousands of people is more mathematically accurate than an internet forum (provided that it was carried out objectively).

In the news I'm seeing calls for revenge against the North. We have the new defence minister saying that if the North attacks again they will be bombed.

The only person that paints this picture of a South Korean government collapsing is you.

The media, the academics, and even my Korean friends are saying totally different things than what you are.

And especially Daum.

That's okay. You can always burst my bubbles. I have my pro-North belief as a South Korean liberal. I'm a proud Korean liberal, very rare in South Korea. But I'm a Korean-Canadian to be exact.

Truth will set us free. The conservative Lee Myeong Bak government will collapse.

You already have the wrong idea in the first place. Good news that the major teachers' union in South Korea is still pro-North.

Don't forget my post.

This is the part of South Korea that you don't see in the Japanese and the Western media.

You can say that, but the History is behind the statement. I allready showed how often the US has been involved in wars just this century.
And did the U.S. start these wars? I guess we shouldn't have invaded Europe then, our bad, we should restore the Nazis and make everything right.

I'm already oppressed enough in South Korea with a pro-American regime.

I don't need an ex-soldier to tell me this fact, dongmu.

야당, 국회 로텐더홀 기습 점거

We started Spainish American war, we started Mexican American war, we started War of 1812, we cleared out phillopeeno rebels by some of the most brutal methods ever known. We invaded and replaced 19 governments in south and central america. Not to mention Perry Forceing Japan to trade with us in 1857. The "Black Ships" is still considered a saying of doom/bad luck in Japan.

We strongly influenced The Boxer rebellion by forceing the Chinese to buy opium from us. WW1 was mostly over by the time we got into it, however it was done more because JP Morgan was worrid about looseing his holdings in Britain. Plus Britain and France didn't want the US forming treaties with Germany, thus the plot in Mexico and the Lusitania, wich had weapons on board. Esentially the British used civilians as human shields.

WW2 wasn't started by us persay, but we certainly helped matters by chooseing sides and supplying them with weapons and equipment. Hell China's airforce was basically American planes with American piolets and American mechanics shooting American bullets. The only thing Chinese about the Flying Tigers was the chinese emblame on the wings. Not to mention cutting off all trade with Japan and creating an oil embargo.

Korea was a UN thing, even though we did the bulk of the fighting.

Vietnam was a France problem intially, we kinda got snookered into that one.

I'm not saying the US is evil incarnate here, I'm pro American across the board. What I am saying is that the US has traditionally been aggressive diplomatically. That America is not afraid to get it's hand's bloody.

눈내리던 8일, "국회는 폭력의 먼지로 자욱했다"

News: The ruling party of South Korea illegally passed critical bills without the opposition party presented. (December 8th)

My comment: See. I told you the South Korean government is imploding. North Korea doesn't need to wage a war in this situation.

"Imploding"?

You're overstating things a bit aren't you?

Political scandal is nothing new and doesn't bring down countries. It just allows the opposition to win the next election.

No matter how shit both choices might be.. I'm doubting that the South will look to the North to solve their political shitstorm.

Not really unless you live here. So you want something related to the news source? This political scandal is often said to be in par with the May 16th coup d'etat in 1961. You don't see this level of scandal during the previous "democratic" governments of Roh Tae Woo, Kim Yeong Sam, Kim Dae Jung, Roh Mu Hyeon.
