I myself am a Pandeist who believes(or at least hopes) that the afterlife is you become a ghost. My believe in the afterlife is alot more complicated than that and I could go into more detail but I think ghost explains it well enough.

Einstein was a Pantheist. Atheists don't believe in souls. The idea of the soul is within the realm of divinity which Atheists don't believe in.
I am an atheist and I beleive in after life...the after life is only made divine by other people. Souls are only made divine by what people think and feel as well. What one see's as divine the other may not. I do not see souls and such as divine. For me to see that divine I would have to beleive in some sort of deity to make the soul which I don't.

There were some test scientist were doing a a few years ago...searching for the soul is what they were doing or something like that. They took a person who had had their arm amputated. It was put under a special type of camera and they could see the outline of an arm one that obviously wasn't connected to the body.

The word divinity not only encompasses the 'holy' term which you are describing but also all that is supernatural, not just holy.

To believe in the soul is to believe in the supernatural.

Where you see the soul as something supernatural I see it as something simple...I see the soul as something thats simply a part of life. Something that is supernatural is just that...but if everyone potentially has a soul then its nothing supernatural.

That's Agnostic right there.

To me gods are a form of control, made up beings to keep humans in order. As for supernatural, I see it as an undiscovered "science". Chi, ki, chakra, energy, ghosts, sprirts, souls ect. I believe are all real, we just haven't discovered any of it yet.
Awesome. Seems you hold the same beliefs as I do.

It says at least one or more of the following. You have two of them. It means you're religious.

Bwahah, nice one

2. A number of customs and rituals associated with such beliefs. (What Mr. Dentist does)
The customs and rituals are supposed to be performed by the religious person, not by his deity. (so not by mr.dentist, the object of your religion, but by you.)

3. Anything that involves the association of people in a manner resembling a religious institution or cult. (The Dentists place)
Err..this is a weird condition, but if we follow it I have to say that The Dentists Place doesn't really fit the description heh.

Alas, you do not qualify on condition 2 and 3, so you are not religious!!

Carefull about posting religion specific posts, its VERY easy to accidentally offend someone with it!

Bye

Flying Spaghetti Monster - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's so hilarious. They are serious about it! xDDDD

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not the first mass killing of civilians in Japan. Tokyo was firebombed 10th March 1945 and maybe as many as 100 – 110,000 civilians were killed.

Wikipedia:

“After 2 hours of bombardment, Tokyo was engulfed in a firestorm. The fires were so hot they would ignite the clothing on individuals as they were fleeing. Many women were wearing what were called 'air-raid turbans' around their heads and the heat would ignite those turbans like a wick on a candle. The Japanese War History office estimated that the incendiary bombing of Tokyo led to 72,489 Japanese dead. This may have been the most devastating single raid ever carried out by aircraft in any war including the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the firebombing of Dresden”....General Curtis LeMay later said: "I suppose if I had lost the war, I would have been tried as a war criminal."

Bombing...n World War II - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This mass killing of civilians was premeditated murder. The US bombers choose the most densely populated area in downtown Tokyo in order to kill as many “enemies” as possible. But were the women and children in Tokyo really the enemy of USA?
Well that doesn't sound too plesant.

Too bad it doesn't happen again. We should have finished them back in WW2 like a Mortal Kombat fatality.
