Nor am I very familiar with tourists and club entrys. I realize that we'll have more chances of getting into a club if we are accompanied with hawt gurls, so we'll deal with that when we're there .

Also, what clubs are there that play trance music? I like the House/trance/even hardstyle if it exists in Japan LOL and other such music, can you name any clubs that play that kind of music? Staying away from the RnB/Hip-Hop would be a plus though, don't like dancing to that.
I'll be sure to remember the names of these clubs and search it up at a later date.

As a foreigner, I would imagine you are more likely to be id'd (though it has never happened to me so I am just guessing with that)

As for trance - not much I don't think... there are a few decent techno events, and some killer dnb nights if you are into that?

I'd check out the techno and all that, and I just checked what DnB is, yuck LOL.
If its any use, basically looking for some techno/trance kinda music thats between 80-120ish BPM. =3
I like my tempo.

By "id'd" do you mean having to show, like, our passports and such? Why do you say foreigners would be more likely to have to show ID? Should we try and look more Japanese? =3

I heard that Japan started Techno and Nightclubs.

Is this true?

From what I hear, they are extremely popular, and there are a lot of underground clubs at night that people go to. So I am sure that they are easy to find, just ask some young folk.

PS. Maybe they want to ID foreigners to make sure that they are mature enough, and won't start any trouble. Since a lot of places aren't as respectable as they are. (This is just a guess)

Hrm yeah thats true, we could always ask some people over there, but I wish I could be a little more organized with things, we haven't organized anything at all actually.
The underground clubs seem to be closer to the scene that I was aiming at (though I'll just say now, I'm not into pills and drugs and all that =3).

Hmm, if that's true, a few well-placed words and maybe a few Japanese accomplices should do the trick, or I guess we could always show them ID and then say "Oh didn't realize you had to be above 21".

i was 18 when i was in japan and i only got ID-once, and that was at 'Yellow' and they ID absolutely EVERYONE! (it warns on their website) and i went out lots over the month i was there and that was the only time.
i was also with 16/17 year olds alot of time and they never got asked for ID either (they were a mixture of european, american, and taiwanese btw)
