hi, i have a question about when i go to japan on the 14th of february. i am going to be going with my school and one of my teachers told me that people shouldnt pack alot of jeans because people in japan like to look good? first of all i dont think jeans make you look bad lol but i was just really questioning that cause i doesnt seem practical, i mean for me im only 17 and basically all i wear and own are jeans. so if anyone has some feedback on that it would be greatly appreciated

or buy BLACK jeans, they can always look somewhat formal if you team it up the right way. ^^
and they don't look too jean-y. XD "I'm sorry, but i must have given you the impression that I actually care about your opinions"

Even though I am a Japanese living in Japan, all I have is jeans like you. Jeans are very popular here. You can find a lot of stylish jeans like Ebisu (not evisu) , Edwin, or even Levies, which are only avairable in Japan such as vintage look. And, don't forget to bring heavy jackets since it is very cold in Feb. here. Enjoy your travel.

I wear jeans ALL the time. When the workplace, does not prohibit wearing jeans, its all I wear but most of the time is semi-formal to formal.
If you are going to school, they have uniforms. I seldom see High School students in jeans , they are always in their uniforms even on weekends. Normally, jeans is pretty much a normal outfit here.. |
