No, all you have to do is get to a train station, get on the local train that will take you to Miyajima-guchi station, and the ferry is right next to that station. It's not too hard, as there is a ton of public transport in Japan, such as cable cars, buses, taxis, etc. Just ask the locals for help if you need it, I know the World Friendship Center has English-speaking staff, the other might as well.

oh..ok!
Now, I must decide where I can stay.
It's a pity that on Miyajima island there isn't any place...

Another question: in Japan ..in these cities...what's the restaurant time (open-closed)?

many thanks for your help!
see you soon

oh sorry to hear that its fully booked, i don't know those other 2 hotels you mentioned, but samurai-san seems to know it..

anyways, I think its better to stay in Hiroshima rather in Miyajima . (1) closer to the stations and city. (2) from Hiroshima you can always take the train to Miyajima anytime..

i found this information : http://www.jnto.go.jp/eng/ttp/ptg/PS/pg-603.pdf

i know for a fact that some of my friends did stay in Miyajima Ryokan ..

I stayed in Hiroshima when I visited Miyajima, as do many other people... there are not all that many hotels on the island, and many of them are more expensive, upscale places. So most people looking for affordable accommodations have to stay in Hiroshima unless you book well ahead.

As for restaurants, many are not open for breakfast, only opening around 11 AM for lunch, and then closing around 9 or 10 PM after dinner (though some places stay open till midnight or later, especially combination restaurant/bars.) Since I'm not a fan of traditional Japanese breakfasts anyway, I usually went to either a grocery store, a mini-mart like 7-11/Lawson's Station, or a bakery, all of which are open in the mornings. You can grab something to drink (milk, orange juice, coffee, etc), some pastries, and some fruit for a very cheap price and get going on your way very quickly! This was what I always did while traveling!

oh yes, there are not all that many hotels on the island, and many of them are more expensive.

In every case , in that day, in Miyajima, it's all full.

I think to stay in these two ryokan or in Miyajima Gouchi Coral Hotel (near ferry).

Oh yes, first visit (in the morning) for me it 's Memorial Museum,Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castel . In late afternoon, I woul like to go to Miyajima to see the fireworks!
