Definitely spoiled. I thought I was spoiled when my mother bought me a car as my graduation gift (especially since, at the time, and still now, we're not too well off financially), but damn. A trip for 2+ ? That's some good money there.
Oh, and: http://ether.serveftp.com:443/mycar1.jpg <- My graduation gift. <3 |

okay? well, once that is over, you can't get a hotel room unless you are 18+ you can't go out at night because nightclubs are 21+ going out at night is just stupid when you are 13. why your parents would pay for you to go japan when they dont even like anime and allthe stuff you like, seems pretty impossible to me. thats all the reasons you should consider first. before even thinking about flying over. "I'm sorry, but i must have given you the impression that I actually care about your opinions"

Thirteen? Yeah, not happening. Even less believable now. We're not being mean, we're just giving you a little reality check. The only - ONLY - way this could happen is if your parents went with you at all times. If you went alone, you'd have to sleep outside because there is no place that is going to rent to you at age thirteen. Next, I don't care what the crime rate is there, it's not safe for a thirteen year old girl to be wandering around the streets of Japan, whether or not they have a friend with them. While there are a lot of good people in all countries, there are also a lot of bad, and they'd just see that as an opportunity for them.
"and im not spoiled i just get better gifts than other people" - You kind of just contradicted yourself right there... -Nao |

Hun, most spoiled kids dont know that their spoiled.
You do realize a trip to japan is pretty crazy for a birthday gift to a 13 yr old. Some people work their asses off all year around, and go to school and try SOO hard just to get to go to japan for a few weeks and experience it. Some people save and save and save for years due to their current living expenses Just to go to Tokyo. and for a 13 yr old get a trip to Tokyo to shop and stuff b/c she doesnt like parties... Take a step back and look at the big picture. The people you are talking to are experienced, mature, and a lot wiser. Instead of trying to defend your self, think reasonably and logically about this situation. if you can answer me how you will find a place to stay while in Tokyo and how you will be on your own or with a friend not knowing the language and things like that. how will you survive there? You'd also need to exchange currency, make sure you get on the right flights, be on time for every thing, get your stuff at luggage claim. navigate thru the Narita airport exchange enough spending money, and also take a subway/train/bus to where ever you are staying. This is a lot of responsibility for a 13 yr old. and if you dont think a trip to japan is A lot or is just another gift, then you have no concept of money, and therefore in our book not mature enough to go out on your own. we are not trying to be mean we are looking out in your best interest. not only that, if a emergency occurs. are you able to fend for your self? Delayed flights/ canceled flights/ getting lost/ running out of money/ not knowing how to use the subway system/ not knowing how to talk to taxi drivers/ losing your luggage/ getting hurt/ etc etc i mean if you DO go, i hope non of these things occur, but these things can be a common problem. are you ready to deal with these things? and if you really read what people write and then read your replies and comments. you'll see you do sound like a spoiled princess. once again, people are just looking out for your best interest. Your a child yet and you need to be protected. Not every thing int his world is nice and goes according to your plans. we've all just given you insight of what your getting your self into. heres a personal Ty to all who voted and participated http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ER8CsVuTNY http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=housetek please check out the videos and subscribe! feel free to pm/aim/msn me for any Q's on Japan |
