Sapporo... -

Hey guys,
In 9 days I'll be jumping on a plane and heading off for 2 weeks in Sapporo. I'll be meeting a friend there but she has prior commitments for about have of the time I will be there. This gives me a considerable amount of time to spend by myself. I was hoping that you may be able to help me find some things to fill my time with. I've checked all the regular travel pages and have a good idea of the "touristy" places to visit. Do any of you have any suggestions about which places are cool and which I should probably avoid? I lived in Sapporo for a while and all that i can say is there isn't a whole lot to do if you are stuck to just the city. I would recommend going out in susukino and go to ramen alley if you can find it. Susukino is good for going out drinking but it is also the risque district of Sapporo but just so happens to be the area with all the bars. Thats about all there is to the city.
