Where is Tomina, Japan?

Hello guys..Im from the Philippines and I watched a Japanese movie which was being shot in an island called Tomina..I looked at it on the internet and Google Earth, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to find it..The place was great and it was relaxing.

Maybe you mean Toshima (利島) island? Or Tsushima (対馬), those are the only 2 islands that have similar names to what you are looking for... at least according to this list of Japanese islands.

hmm..coz according to the movie, it is a Southern island..so i think it's far south from Tokyo..

at first, i thought it may be part of the Okinawa Prefecture.but i haven't seen any town or island named "Tomina".

hey guys..someone told me that the island "Tomina" was just a fictional place..the realy "tomina island" was shot in Amami islands. btw, that island is in Waterboys 2005..
