*Wonders why people just don't put up links to the pics instead*

This thread is informative, but I can't look at that stuff without shuddering, jumping, or yelping. ><

A wasp in Cairns.

A stick insect in Cairns.

A python in Cairns after the nightly rats in the trees.

oh mannn, I thought pictures were bad enough. But when you see them in motion... I can't take it.

It's that writhing motion i just can't stand. Gives me the creeps.

@ozkai - this was supposed to be a thread about Japanese bugs. But those are some cool pics anyways, especially the stick bug.
maybe we should just change it to a general bugs and poisonous animals thread.

Anyone heard of those man eater spiders?

I dunno if it's a myth or not, but this soldier woke up one day to find that somethnig had been eating at his arm. Whatever it was left something in his bloodstream like a painkiller so he didn;'t feel it.

Of course, I saw that on a show about cryptids.

I knew that but it was getting a little bit boring with nobody like you posting photos. I mean, let's face it, how many here have photos of Japanese "bugs".

That stick insect spoke Japanese so I thought he qualified

Those bugs look kinda cool, ick on the hornet though. Aussie was a bit freaky (I lived in Melbourne). Big ass Redback spider joining me for the morning shower every week or so.
