Kudanshita Station to Kawaguchiko Fifth Station - 10-09-2009, 06:20 AM

Hi there! Will be in Tokyo in 3 weeks. We intend to spend a day in Mount Fuji.

Can anyone kindly help me? I need info on how to get to "Kawaguchiko Fifth Station" from Kudanshita Station in Tokyo (or near Tokyo) - this is the nearest subway station from our hotel.

Really interested in heading to the Fuji Five Lakes.I've been trying to search the web for info but no luck.

Thanks guys.Any help will be greatlty appreciated.

u can take the toei shinjuku line until shinjuku station then transfer to JR Chuo Line bound for Takao then change to JR Chuo line that will take you all the way to Kofu , and I think u can take the train from Kofu Station to the Five lakes area..

or maybe u can take the bus from shinjuku ..

Right. I'd take the bus from Shinjuku if I were the OP. The bus would be much more hassle-free than the train.
