Yeah Miyajima is lovely definitely go there. I lived in Osaka for a while, it is a cool city with great food and friendly people. Go around the Dotombori for bright lights - it was the inspiration fro Bladerunner. There is an area called Amemura a rabbit-run of shops and bars which is very popular with young people, def worth a visit. Enjoy!
