Snorkel near Fukuoka

I'm going to Fukuoka again near the end of next week, and I'm wondering if there is anywhere to go and rent some snorkel gear and do a little snorkeling? I'd prefer in Fukuoka, but if it isn't too far and easy to access by train then that is okay too. I'm okay with either near the shore or one of those short boat trips where they take you out a bit and let you go about for an hour or so and bring you back in.
