Japanese University Student Holidays

Hi, I've been in Japan for a while now and plan on doing some more travel in November.
When (and where) are Japanese University students likely to be travelling during that time?
I plan to stay in youth hostels and it'd be great to have some people my age to talk to in Japanese.
