I've booked my flight and I've made a route visiting Tokyo, Kamakura, Nara, Osaka and Kyoto. I'd like to visit one more city west of these mentioned, now I have a train pass.
I'm considering either Okayama or Hiroshima
Which one would you recommend (or any other city in between)?

I say go to Hiroshima, drop by Miyajima while you are at it...

Okayama doesn't have much to see...

I find it ironic how I was thinking this, going to Miyajima in Hiroshima. I also find it bad that if it wasn't for last week's ep of Detective Conan (and this week's), I wouldn't have even thought of that specific place.

Another question:

I see that there was a copy of the Danish theme park Tivoli in Kurashiki near Okayama. And that it closed in 2008

Does anyone know if the Danish inspired buildings in the park has been torn down since?

There seems to be a bit of info on it here: Kurashiki travel guide - Wikitravel

From what I gather, it's still there but it's not available to the public....Then again, I don't know when that article was last updated....
