In case you are planning to come here to try and help, non-professional volunteers are not wanted at the moment.

I'm in Kobe and I've been inquiring regularily as to when I can head up north to help out and so far nothing, it's frowned upon to take your own initiative, you'd just add to the mouths that need to be fed.

Just in case though.

If you're planning to visit elsewhere as a tourist than go for it.

Out of where? I used to fly out of BC, but that leg has been cancelled.
