Takkyubin service Narita Hikojo to Aomori-ken? - 04-24-2011, 03:22 PM

Does anyone here know how the transportation mess in Tohoku has possibly affected the KuroNeko takkyubin service between New Tokyo International Airport (AKA... Nariata Airport) and the general area up in Aomori-ken?

In a tad less than a month I am going to need to ship some luggage between the two places and then back.

Kind of trying to get a mental grasp on some travel planning issues.

Appreciate any info anyone might have. And I'll be "quick checking" again closer to the "need to use" date too.

best,

I think Kuroneko is now OK, and Shinkansen is also back in Operation.

Try to check the webpage to get the latest information

Samokan,

Thanks very much for the info.

The Tohoku shinkansen is supposed to be back in full service on April 29th, according to JR East's website. But I was wondering if the freight rails were also fully repaired... and how that might affect KuroNeko's deliveries.

Looks like basically OK for the area I need at the moment.

I did not know that website existied! Thanks. VERY helpful.

best,
