That place looks amazing!! Again, it's a tad out of my way on my trip next year. That's a shame. The Ueno one looks interesting though but it seems they're forever changing the exhibits. Going to have to strike it lucky with that one.

Thanks for your help, as always

Too bad, man! Just found out that one in Fukui is said to be among the top three in the world in dinosaur collection. Wonder if Nyororin has been there.

NBC just showed a special called "American Ninja Warrior" where ten guys went to Japan to try and beat Mt. Midoriyama. They do this every year, and still are. Is Sasuke cancelled, but American studios "borrow" it?

I know that the Americans started their own version in California, I think. G4TV also shows old Sasuke episodes, or I think they're old....

American Ninja Warrior is a spin off of Sasuke where the finalists borrow the facilities of Mt. Midoriyama.

That Cliffhanger obstacle is pretty nasty isn't it? Nobody in American Ninja warrior or Sasuke has completed it yet. David Campbell came the closest out of any contestant so far.

Right, finalised things now. Decided to go a few months earlier as it's about £3000 cheaper.

Going to Tokyo in April for 8 nights.

So far on our to-do list.

Sunshine City
Jump Store
Pokemon Center
Hello Kitty Land
Hanami party (with a bit of luck!)
Sega Joyopolis
Alice in Wonder land themed resturaunt

And ofcourse seeing all my friends while over there!

Any other suggestions?

Sounds like the 3000 you'll save you're going to spend in the places above! Next to Joypolis is Aqua City, if it's not in it itself. There are some cool stores in the top floor you may like.... Of course, Sunshine City is right across the flagship Animate store....

Animate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The photo is actually the precise store I was talking about. There's another one in Akihabara on the Chuo Dori, but it's not as big as the Ikebukuro one.... It's literally accross the street from the Sunshine City complex....

That looks awesome thanks!

On another note, I've just seen how much a JR rail pass costs! That's mighty expensive for the 3 of us! Will we really be spending that much money circling the yamanote line a few times and a few short trips out? Wow.

Is it worth it?
