Are there any sites that can offer cheaper flights to Japan in July than the average price of $1700 round trip?

You're pretty late so I wouldn't bet on it.

This is July now. Buy a few months in advance and during the off seasons (fall, spring) for cheaper flights.

All the flight agencies told me now is the right time to book.

1700 is really much!

They are probably about the same....

9357km NRT-FRA

8825km NRT-LAX

You also have to figure in federal taxes when calculating fares in the U.S.

I think you should wait to buy your ticket until you are closer tp the date. I am leaving tomorrow, and I got my ticket in the end of may for 1046$. (A LOT of internet searching. Almost got 989 deal as well but was a day too late.)

So dont lose hope ^^ (If you are under 16, by any rare chance, start doing small jobs to earn money. If you are older, an extra small job will help.)

Coffee prevents me from killing you.
