I never had any troubles in Japan, but it does make sense to be cautious, regardless of where u visit. i had a bag lock which consisted of a metal wire in which i was able to secure my bag closed and a money belt too.

thats kind of creepy!!!
*shrug* My heart bleeds,
Look at you hiding, all the things to endure me. I need you here with me, Breathing, wanting you to believe me, I see you in all of these faces, Blush with shame, when I think of you, and your pale skin. I need you here with me, Breathing, wanting you to believe me, I sell my soul for you... |

I have no idea what you were doing, but it seems really weird that something so weird would happen to you not just once, but twice in the same short period of time.
I`ve never been pickpocketed. I`ve left my bag sitting on tables, and never had it touched. Are you SURE you were in Japan and not some other country? Because packs of poor orphans stealing your stuff at the airport does NOT seem likely. |

The pic added goes to the ones whose ideas are in a box, to the ones who don't give respect to the one who doesn't fit in that box, stereotying one as I am. You'll soon learn your mistake in not getting the chance, because of Your Error to get to know as others have gotten to know, love, respect, and appreciate me for who I am and not for what you aim to make me. あしゅり のえる |

well I know that there are already snatchers roaming around the streets targetting females. 5 years ago, I have never seen posters about snatching ( or maybe i was just not aware ) , but right now you can see this posters everywhere ( well in Osaka that is ). Fortunately, no one among my friends here have experienced this.
But 2 of the Friends in Kyushuu and Tokyo did experience this unfortunate event. One lost 1000$ and the other her bag. The one in kyushuu was nabbed on the street by 2 guys in motorcycle, the other one Tokyo was robbed inside the train. Japan is basically safe, but it is also up to us to be careful. There is no such thing as abosulutely safe. |
