They aren't inside the train station, but right outside of the Omotesando Exit on the bridge that goes over the tracks toward Yoyogi Park and Meiji Shrine. They are there every Sunday all year except when it rains. During the summer, there are sometimes a few of them on the bridge on Saturdays too.

Most of these pictures are taken on the bridge near Harajuku Station.

Unfortunately, it's raining today (Friday) and may rain Sunday as well.

Yeah, Harajuku is a station which is where the term Harajuku girls came from because it is 1) where they tend to congregate and 2) where a lot of the good stores selling costumes can be found.

Harajuku and Yoyogi park has a lot more going on Sunday than just the cosplayers. There are bands along the sidewalk and throughout the park. There are lots of people just hanging out in Yoyogi jogging, dancing, and drinking.

Sunday is usually the one day a week that Japanese with steady jobs have off which is why it turns into a mad house on Sunday afternoon.

How was your trip Kir0? I have always wanted to go to Japan. ^^ Did you encounter any weird Japanese guys? I am also female, so I'd like to know if Japan felt safe to you. Thanks.
