Hello all!
I'm a dutch photographer who will be working at the Fuji Rock festival within....27 days. After the Fuji Rock festival i'ver planned a trip through Japan. We're travelling with 2 persons. The travelling schedule that i have planned is: 1. Nagoya (the city where i arrive) - Echigoyuzawa (train stop for Fuji Rock festival); 2. Echigoyuzawa - Hakata (for visiting Beppu); 3. Hakata - Miyajima 4. Miyajuma- Kyoto 5. Kyoto - Tsumago 6. Tsumago - Nagoya (departing airport). Questions: will the JR Railpass cover this entire trip? Does this JR railpas also cover railway trips in the Kyoto/Kobe area? Is this JR railpass also valid on bus transportartion in Kyoto area and Kyushu? What's the quickest/cheapest way to travel from Tsumago to Nagoya? Hope to hear from you!!! Kindest regards, Peter |

I am going to be really Japanese and say probably, most likely, I think so. I can't really commit to a strong response because your question is very specific. If you could be a little more vague, I would just say yes.
Here's a map, echigo is on there so you should be fine. http://www.japanrailpass.net/images/map_en.pdf |

i used this website to get train times and connections, its very good and allows you to skip Nozomi shinkansen which JR passes are not valid on
