I don't think you understand. (I'm assuming you're Caucasian) Japanese have different perceptions on Caucasians than other races. Remember, most Japanese people are only exposed to foreigners via Hollywood movies. Unfortunately, many Hollywood movies reinforce stereotypes from the Western world. It is unfair for someone to make fun of someone else's fears because they don't understand.

If anything I would have thought that the Japanese would have a problem with caucasains due to the stereotypical shit that is produced. But they don't. Japan is like other countries not everyone is a racist but there are racists in every country you may travel to! But I will tell you now that they are out numbered and out matched by all the others that aren't racist!

I think all you need to do is prove that you understand and respect Japanese culture. So long as you do that, you shouldn't have a problem, IMO.

why be afraid if anything I think they like mexicans I mean they have a big company in mexico and from what my family in mexico told me and on tv shows there is a city in mexico (I forgot where) that has a huge japanese population.
