*shrugs* since i'm already a manga artist for an anime magazine for people who want to be one her are some ups and downs about being a manga artist
TOO MANY DEADLINES get to meet lots of people free anime convention passes don't really make a whole lot of money but other than dat it's a cool job |

my school wanted to place a few fan fics i've done in the school paper but i told them no... I was scared out of my wits, i thought it was horrible none of the panels had backgrounds and you could barely read my writing!
I've always wanted to be a manga artist but i'm not good with finnishing what i start... just stay off my grassy path... With the way American comics are becoming so Japanese influenced now, not really.
Besides, surely it's possible to work as a comic book artist in Japan even if you're a foreigner. I heard the mangaka for Cutie Honey were Gaijin. Though surely at least twice as hard to be a comic artist in Japanese if you're not Japanese right? |
