you might also want to check out the work of Yukki Yaura - Yukki Yaura ???? - her work also blends traditional calligraphy with the contemporary field.

The ones for "Dream" and "Sea" are amazing. She also did a fantastic job on "Moon" and "Kiss"

kanji definetely wanders, and stumbled upon some great stuff cuz i keep seem to be folowing him lol
but that artwork blows my mind away, definetely takes the immersion of japan and american culture, and fuses them into one WOOT OUR COMMUNIST FREEDOMISTIC SOCIETY ^_^  there is one true love in my life.. and sadly it will be fate that will have to hold us together the light will continue to shine for all..
