Japanese Fashion Magazine Recommendations? - 01-24-2008, 02:12 AM

1) Anyone know of an english-language magazine devoted to Japanese fashion?

2) And of Japanese-language ones, which is best for the current trends in Japan (but not including those devoted to Lolita fashions)?

3) Any english-language Japanese magazines covering lifestyle/beauty etc?

Umm..I get JapanUp, but that ones not too good...it's more about little tokyo, and half of it is restaurant listings.

My friend knows of some good ones, so I'll see if I can get them from her.

The ones I usually get are:
Non-no
CUTiE
ViVi
CanCam
Ray
JJ
Zipper

These are pretty much around the same cutesy styles. You can get a glimpse at what they're like here: Magazine > Fashion & Style --- Fujisan.com-Japanese On-line Super store

The only thing is that they're all in Japanese.

thank you everyone I wish one of the major publishers would come out with an english-language J-Fan magazine - I always pick up magazines like Cutie and JJ and wish I could read them in English. Ah well.

How about Popteen, Cawaii and Egg? ES POSHH!? Or Seventeen? Kera? Pinky, Ageha? There's a whole world of magazines out there if you just fucking google it. They're not in English, though. But you can always find FruitS in English. There aren't any others, I'm afraid.

Curtsy while thinking about what to say, it saves time.

Find me at X JAPAN in Paris, July '08! WE ARE X!!
