Anywho... In America, there aren't that many people with lolita fashions. It's not as socially acceptable here and it's kind of embarassing in America more than Japan because there's a more likely chance you would see lolita in Japan.

There's this REALLY great magazine in Borders called the "Gothic Lolita Bible" where you can find LOTS of links and things to do for the fashion in it. I find it in the manga isles in my Borders, but I don't know about yours. Order it on a computer in your store if it's not there and it's $20. All color, patterns, and HUUUGE pages which are chock-full of fun stuff.

Being the geek I am, I'm making a "Dream Cafe" which is going to be all lolita. I'm making a scrap book with pictures of everything that will be sold in the cafe, the uniforms, and the furniture.
In America, well houston atleast, there aren't many people who are even into just fashion =.='''
most people here are nothing but a ragtag assemblage of loose baggy hane's t-shirts (probably from Wal-Mart), low hanging, needlessly (not too mention 'unfashionably) baggy dickie's (probably from Wal-Mart) dangling gently over a pair of boxers (DEFINITELY from Wal-Mart) and sometimes they'll add a little bling bling of diamonds that they bought for $20 (at Wal-Mart).

Awwwh! Don't go Wal-Mart bashing! My mom works there and we get ever BETTER discounts.

Anywho, Wal-Mart ain't that bad nowadays. But, I see where you get people being really cheap and wearing stuff that's not really... Appropriate for everyday outdoors wear.

I hate when I go to Chicago and there's those people who are just wearing clothes that are all dirty and as you described. There's only Suits and Hane's in Chicago.

For some reason, I knew somebody was going to mention Houston. Deja Vu.

Thanks for reading!

and if it weren't for wal-mart...
there'd be no where for me and my drunk buddies too go and make arses out of ourselves at 2 in the bloody morning *right after the bar's close*
x.x''' every other night~
and if it weren't for wal-mart...
there'd be no where else for me too do my shop-lifting done and receive my weekly five-finger discounts ='(
everyone else is so stingy w/ their fancy shmancy security camera's lodged up every nook, cranny, and crack of the store >.<

omg, I'm laughing so hard right now. I find that Wal-Mart has great shoes. All I do is buy shoes... It's really sad.

Back to an on-topic... My shoes I buy at Wal-Mart go with lolita-esque outfits. I bought these cute polka-dot shoes that look like those funny flats, but they have heels. I also got these chunks that look like shoes from Nana there too.

hmm....i NEVER shop for shoes at wal-mart...
why???
simply because i can never find the other shoe...
if the 'sneaker' i'm looking for is not already on some poor hobo's foot, in that box w/ either the ladie's flats or heels, it's probably either in the fresh produce isle or i find out that some arse decided too switch his poor sewer laden, shit filled, dirty filthy little sneaker w/ a brand new shiny 'plastic' one, and leaving two left feet on the shelves =.='''

O_O Your Wal-Mart is ghetto to the max!

My Wal-Mart, which is a mile and a half from my house, is one of the newest super-centers which is all nice and pretty and clean and kept up. Everything is fairly nice and more Wal-Marts are becoming not-as-ghetto now. Wal-Mart meat isn't good...

I love you too. I really want to try to make my own clothes, but my mom's sewing machine is from the 70s and I don't want to spend so much money on a new machine.

Plus, I don't have enough experience to make something and my mom always gets into my projects and I'd want to do this myself. XDDD

I'm talking A LOT about my mom, aren't I? But that's what makes her fun.
