Chinese Character tattoos are fine as long as you KNOW exactly what characters mean in the KANJI hemisphere, not JUST Japanese or JUST Chinese or JUST Korean.
You don't want characters such as: 手紙 - CHN: Toilet Paper JPN: Letter 鶏 - CHN: Chicken, or prostitute (slang), JPN: Chicken 愛人 - CHN: Spouse, JPN: Mistress 八方美人 - KOR: A perfect person (praise), JPN: Someone who present themselves as perfect (negative connotation) I mean Hanzi/Kanji/Hanja, whatever you call it is just a minefield imho because each country as taken it and spined it their own way. |

he knew he wasn't gonna make it because he was 15 and had many other medical issues and so his chances of making it were very small so he made me promiss to get a tattoo, and plus thats just how me and my family remember the dead, we dedicate part of our bodies to them as a memorial and get a tattoo that reminds people of them. and i could care less about offending people because im not here to please others.

Lol, If you think you're a cool guy, need a tattoo in order to remember your friend, want to disgrace yourself, your body, and probably what your friend would want, then go for it!! 猿も木から落ちる
