Hehe. ^^ Sure didn't hope so either.
That sounds so cool! Go post pics in the 'Show us your style'-thread when it's done! XD

Nah, not a good idea to try it on one's own. The way it's done requires wax, and one needs to also be trained in styling hair in that fashion for many years!

XD

I will say, though, I have two wigs that are styled in those styles and I LOVE THEM. >

thats got to be allot of wax cause it looks like they have some sort off padding under the "wings" , but true it does look nice :>

How observant of you! There is padding under the sides and wings, but it's done with a substance called ketabo, which has the consistency of a brillo pad, but is dark brown like hair, so one really never sees it. When checking my wigs over, I always check to make sure none of it is sticking up. There is a lot of wax, but after years and years, it does evaporate, or disappear, as my wigs are older, and to keep them soft and subtle I have to order wax and camellia oil to put into them. ^^

There is absolutely no way that I will be able to make my hair that "elaborate". 1) I have boy-cut hair...2)It looks to complicated for me in the first place.

I really like cute hairstyles like the hairstyles in Japanese fashion magazines like Cutie, Pinky, Ranzuki, Egg and ViVi. I also like J-Rock hairstyles. Kera magazine is good for J-Rock style and punk style in general.
