Also...i think you should straighten your hair... eithe manual straightener(tool) or Japanese Hair Straightening treatment(a lot of money).

The hair on te back of your head is kind of thick, try getting it thinned or thin it yourself. to thin it yourself, you can use a razor or a thinning scissors. (this won't destroy your length but might cut it a tad bit shorter like 1-2cm at most approx.)

Yes, def flat iron more. And use a texturizer to clump together locks of hair. Takes time and practice, but worth it.

Is this what you were trying to do?

I wouldn't call it a J-Rock style just because it's messy.
As you can see by the two pictures posted, their hairstyles are very precise, clean, long and straight.

the pics are not my new hairstyle (they are the "before" pic) and I now have longer "sidehair", so i will try with the great advices I got.
And yea something like those pics. first I will try to fix some new pic of my current hair and see if someone have a tips/advice ect.ect, of how I can make my hair look longer or something like that, since I am very tierd of having "ordinary" hairstyle.

PS. sry for the slow reply.

I totally agree with what has been already said here...I think longer and straight hair is needed...I have problem with it too. I have to make it straight but I have rather longer hair so I don't do it much.
