To be sure, they're men, aha. That might be why your 'gah' sensors are going off.

On the other hand, the one on the left-- Jasmine You-- is now dead. Don't speak ill of the dead, especially in front of a Versailles fangirl.
Jasmie was awesome and all, and so was Versailles.

But the dead never care about what we say of them, really. If they did, Hitler would haunt us all.

When I said normal makeup looks bad, I mean on everyone. Family, neighbors, movie stars, everyone. I think it is also stupid because why wear something if you don't want people to notice? Everyone I know wears makeup and I either can't tell a difference of when they have it on and don't. And if I can, I think it's a waste of time and ugly anyway. It's just not attractive nor is it pretty. VK, on the other hand, is beautiful and noticeable.

I can't stand all that "J-Rock Make up".

Having deposed that, It just would not look the same on a "causcasian".

Seems that it's more about the lighting than the makeup.

LOL, this is true! They do take photos under very bright lights that soften their features or even blot them out! I saw an interview with Gackt once, (posted on on youtube) he was in a small shop but the lighting on him so blindingly ridiculous! XD

It's so easy to fall in love with a photograph, take away the clothes, make-up and lighting and you've got a pretty average person. A lot of these Japanese stars get their eyes larger with plastic surgery too. So it's really an unnatural and unattainable image to emulate to be honest.
