i may sound dumb but still i been wondering for a while now
i know yukata and kimono etc are wore for different season,event
but yukata and kimono etc they all look the same what the difference?

this was answered earlier on in this thread; kimono is the traditional dressof Japan, yukata and furisode are variations of kimono; yukata are summer kimonos made of cotton, worn for sping and summer festivals, at onsen and ryokan. furisode are kimonos with long sleves, as seen recently on this thread. traditional kimono and furisode are made of silk, modern kimonos are made with acylic mixes. patterns on kimono are either printed on or embroided ^^

ah the memories, they remind me of when I dressed up...I would recommend doing that to anyone it is so much fun and such a good experience
