there is no regulations.
I think that I depend on the kind of the kimono and the place to which it goes. Cryptanalysis is necessary for you. set a goal:English at the same level as Johan Cruyff |

Thanks. I plan on making a kimono/yukata Just for fun to wear around the house, or if i'm able to go to any anime cons...and I saw they do sell geta's online in some stores, but my parents won't let me shop online plus I don't have a credit/debit card to do so...and no, I am not Japanese, nor do I live in Japan

mm, if you can't get Geta I suggest you make a yukata instead. A kimono has many layers and is going to be a big project if you want to make it anyway, and you need tabi, obi etc. I've seen a lot of people in flip-flops + yukata at fairs here in Japan, you wouldn't look weird. Especially if you're not going to wear it in Japan. Have you researched how to make yukata? :3
btw once you make it and wear it, make sure the back collar touches your neck, basic rule of kimono/yukata. If you don't it's a dude/martial arts thing. o.o; (I learned the hard way.) |
