This is exactly one of those things that realy annoy me in Japan - way of dressing that could turn the toughest sailor's stomach, inside out. I always wanted to ask. Is there a purpose in dressing that way or is it purly psychological?

I'm a girl and I like VK styles but I wouldn't say I dress strictly VK, since I think it is more stage costume and will be difficult to wear outside; however, I do like sort of gothic x punk styles and I really like doing more Kera inspired looks

No offense, but liking the GazettE does not make you VK. It just makes you a GazettE fan.

That kinda did offended me either way because I had never said that the GazettE is my only favorite VK band. With them I also like Miyavi, Dir En Grey, Versailles, SID, Sadie, Girugamesh, Vidoll, Vivid, Alice nine, Kagrra, D=out, Deluhi, D, X-Japan, BORN, Exist Trace, Luna Sea, SuG ( but they are nor Visual Kei..), Screw, Moi dix Mois, and Lycaon.
If you meant by BEING Visual Kei, then hell yeah I am. I know fully well that it's a style, a way of dressing and I do dress that way. ♥

I like VK, and dress in it sometimes ( started when I joined my school's Harajuku fashion club). I want to try to dress in it a lot more.
