Same here.
![]() Interestingly enough, the supermarket near me just started carrying the same kind of curry, too, Phanta. I thought it might have just been in my area, but I guess not. And here I thought I was special. ![]() |

I love curry, though I must say that I prefer the Thai varieties.
I wouldn't buy curry from walmart if I had a choice. Asian markets tend to be alittle cheaper and have a beter selection. Of course, if you live in an area with no Asian markets, I suppose you'd have no choice. |

Have you noticed how the Japanese put raw eggs on their curry sometimes??? ...Well... they put raw eggs on a lot of things, anywho... I just don't see how they do it. I mean, it has no taste, and its all slimmy (texture resembles snot...
![]() My wal-mart has lots of curious Japanese items... more than one might think. Asian section: Curry, udon, Japanese ramen, pocky, miso, nori sheets, Botan (short-grain rice), panko, wasabi and ginger... and in the produce section: edamame, tofu, yakisoba... and frozen section has hibachi frozen dinners and frozen gyoza potstickers. I go to salvage grocery stores too... and surprisingly, they have good stuff. You can get bottles of Kikkoman soy sauce and rice wine for, like, 50 cents or less! ![]() Perhaps stars fall, just as the rain Until they burn on a windowpane The grief of loss no written place It is simply painted, on my face. |
