Soda/Pop

I guess this kind has to/kind of doesn't have to deal with Japanese food. But I've always been kind of curious what everyone else calls stuff like Pepsi or Coke. I know by their names, but the reason being is where I live (Illinois, USA) we call it that stuff pop here and every other state/country I've been to they call it soda. So, what do you guys hear more where you live- soda or pop?

pop...and soda....
soda is better but my mom says pop 0.0

everyone i know calls it pop, but i call it soda, or soda pop.

Lol, my English friend once asked me if I wanted some pop i was like "wtf is pop?" o.O

I call it Soda, don't know why..

Neither. O.o We call everything, even Pepsi, coke. My best friend's husband is from New York and asked me if I wanted a pop. I had no clue what so ever! LOL
