Hai I can use chopsticks but my brother can't lol once he came to eat at the resturant I was working at and just to torture him I only gave him chopsticks to eat udon with lol!!!!!!. He gave up after dropping his noodles for the 25th time XP, also once my soccor coach and I were eating sushi and he dropped it in the sauce which in return splattered on his nice red bottonup shirt lmao!. It was right before prom so we tried to get out the stain XDDDDDDDD he had a water mark the whole night lol he's such a goof.

I learned how to use Hashi 箸When I was about 14 years old. I had never used them prior to that. My class had ordered some Asian cuisine from a store, and we had eaten it in class that day, during a party (from what I remember)

Anyways, my first attempt was a failure, but I had vowed that every time I ate Ramen, or anything similar, I always use Hashi (chopstick)

Now I am rather good at it. To make myself better, I used to test myself and try to pick up random items with them.

It seems wielding hashi is good exercise for sprained fingers, even though its painful.

I don't like my new tavel set. They're a very pretty set of aluminum ones that break down and fit in a handy little case. Even with the tips ridged they are too slippery for udon or ramen. But they worked well enough to drive my colleagues at work nuts. I had some shelled edamame with my dumpings today and I know from how intently they stared as I ate them one by one, that they were just waiting for a bean to go flying or drop in my lap. No such luck!

Lol! I just read your post at the top of the page about how you 'didn't' sprain your finger ~_^ but I agree chopsticks do work out your hand. I remember once I broke my wrist and when they took off my cast I had to start useing chopsticks again with it X_x it was torture but made my hand strong . You show them TalnSG.
