I've loved natto ever since my first ever Japanese classmate introduced this to me. I used to have a recipe to ferment natto by myself too. But, too bad that I lost the recipe. My favorite way to enjoy Natto: Mix some freshly sliced green onion, beaten raw egg, soy sauce and (optional) very little wasabi to natto, and enjoy it with steaming hot rice. I consider this as one of the best treat I could ever give myself in a winter day, or actually any time of the year. |
