Yaay~ I like this thread. My favorite Japanese food must be curry rice or yakitori! I love both~ I've never really been a huge fan of fish, so I stick mostly to simpler foods, like meat. Then again, I don't like vegetables either, so yakitori is just the thing for me (or if I make a special order of curry rice without vegetables at Yakino-baba's...). I just love the slightly sweet taste on the chicken... >w<;; *faints at the mere thought of yakitori* I first tried it at a con last spring (where it was darned CHEAP too) and fell in love with it<3 Literally. I tripped on something and fell straight into my plate of yakitori when I was walking toward a table... T___T Thank god I took my cosplay (which was a coat, BTW) off a moment before, and could cover the stain on my shirt with it. Still, lots of love to yakitori.
