well, I wouldn't order/take/try ikura (salmon eggs) or uni (don't know what that's in English) at the first time.
start with tamago (egg), ebi (shrimps) or maguro (tuna). well, just try. I've eaten so many delicious kinds of fish/sushi without knowing what exactly that has been

mmh, it's really difficult to say what my favourite food is. I basically eat everything (just not umeboshi, i can't say why).... well, fugu (bubblefish?) was fantastic... and nabe, specially when it's cold outside and you sit at a kotatsu with your family.... and of course sweets
