I want to add hot dogs to this 'yuck' list and I hope someone else has mentioned them in the past. Its not the meat part that scares me so much as the fillers they shove in there.

Hahaha. For anyone living in the US, there's a relatively new addition to the Audubon Zoo and Aquarium in New Orleans, Louisiana. It's the Insectatarium! While most of it has to do with seeing all kinds of bugs, they have a place at the back where they cook all kinds of bugs for visitors to eat. And they are actually pretty good! Also, they love to mention how many bugs and bug parts people eat on a daily basis in any processed food .

the pinnacle of gross foods is the half gestated eggs that they eat in the philipines and in china where you crack open the shell and theres a half developed chicken foetus, and youre meant to eat the feathers and beak and everything.

if youre squeemish, or prone to nightmares, i would not google it if i were you.

The worst thing I ever experienced was at a restaurant in a coastal area of Thailand.

We had a monkey and his head stuck through a hole centred in the middle of the table. The head was then sliced off with a razor sharp knife, the blood from the neck drained into a glass, and I will leave the rest to your imagination!

My Thai friend and his family actually drank the blood!

Cheers - Oz
