Mango mochi is my favorite! Next time I get some, I want to try green tea flavored.

Thanks for reading!

I`m about sick of mochi after the last couple weeks. We accumulated a huge amount over New Years, so it`s become our recent staple...

Mochi in soup. Grilled mochi. Thinly sliced and fried mochi. Deep fried mochi...
*sigh*

The sweet stuff is daifuku, and is quite a bit different.

Where do you get yours? I buy my mochi at Trader Joe's. I think they also have stawberry there.

I would like to try one green tea. I just don't like real tea, so it doesn't sound that good. I don't want to buy a whole package, though.

Thanks for reading!

I thought the same thing, and did a little search. Apparently 雪見だいふく is marketed the world around as "mochi ice cream"... And to be associated with it, all daifuku seems to be marketed as "mochi". So I can sort of understand the confusion.

My absolutely favorite is the green tea mochi. ^_^ Normally I do not like strawberry but the strawberry flavored one tastes so good.

I get mine at Trader Joe's or sometimes at my local Korean store.

But now that I'm in Japan, I can't find it! No one knows what it is.
