eating in small eateries is much cheaper than macdonalds, plus there is the thing about quality, proper food or a burger...well there is no contest for me really and to be honest compared to england I found japan really cheap and the people are nicer :-)

AWESOME!!!! I give you two thumbs up! Daifuku mochi is the best food on the whole frickin' planet (especially the tea-flavored ones)! That's what I made my nickname from (Mochi) in the fifth grade. Never had a different nickname since then. Respect the power of the mochi! XP

It's great ohhh my gosh it's so good. Though some people hate it ,i don't know why.

The pic added goes to the ones whose ideas are in a box, to the ones who don't give respect to the one who doesn't fit in that box, stereotying one as I am. You'll soon learn your mistake in not getting the chance, because of Your Error to get to know as others have gotten to know, love, respect, and appreciate me for who I am and not for what you aim to make me.

I love sushi as well. especially inari! :3
but most people here.. when they prepare sushi, they put them in refrigerator right away.
the cold makes the nori chewy and nasty.. gaah~
the same goes with the sweet outer covering of inari.. it's just really really weird. o__o

Oh! Do what you wanna do to make you happy!
(Anyway, have some fun!!)

Depends on the sushi. but for me I love all sushi especially with shrimp. And just like naruto from the show I can't get enough of Ramen. I have like a 4 month supply of that stuff in 5 different flavors.

Full of calcium, granted, but about as appetising as Sheffield gutter sweepings. I did my best to avoid it, along with the majority of the food in Japan. Sake rules though, one of my best memories is being ruined on sake and cycling around a lake, in the dark, pretending I can balance and singing Co_dot songs. Great memories.
Ouch, given Ika (squid) or tako (octopus) your first time. I'm guessing that it was that your first time eating sushi. If so that sucks Sushi is great but if you eat squid for you first time it might ruin your Sushi experience. I would recommend giving sushi another chance, but you should try Maguro first. Its doesn't have a strong flavor and its not chewy so its the perfect starter for beginning Sushi. After you get use to more and more kinds you should try Ika again. I didn't like Ika the first time I ate it but now I like it a bit more than I did before.

Than again some people just don't like Sushi.
