Strange Japanese Ice Cream Flavors

I would actually try the chicken wing ice cream if given the chance.

Actually, most Japanese that I have met love seafood so whilst it may seem strange to some, it's probably really normal in Japan.

Their Ice-cream flavors just seem all to weird but yeh, i would definitely try them atleast once. Who knew you can make ice-cream out of chicken wing or shimp flavors. Ha

when I go to Japan..i love their green tea ice cream..what seems weird to you..is not weird here..or course things are going to be different here..as it is another country...i am in MExico now..and their ice cream is also different from US

No, it is not really normal to eat shrimp ice cream in Japan. It is a novelty there, just as it is seen strange here.

That Japanese I know are more surprised by the things Americans are happy to submit their digestive systems too.

Of course its different in mexico. we got pepino con chile(cucumber w/chile) y mango con chile(mango w/chile) y pina(pineapple) with chile I love our ice cream.( mexico)

The only icecream flavor that I saw everywhere in Japan that was weird was Green Tea. I really didn't like it at all. But in Germany I asked for Peanut Butter Icecream and the guy acted like I asked for shoe leather flavor. I guess that's not something they eat over there.

If you go to the country, you can get some REALLY weird stuff like potato, sweet potato, and eggplant ice cream. There are many more flavors but those are the only ones i remember offhand =/

I haven't heard of peanut butter ice cream either.
