My mom bought a rice cooker a few months back and I made onigiri for my family. I bought some sushi rice and followed the instructions on the bag which were pretty simple. Then I just made up a filling since you can put just about anything into them. I cut steak into small pieces and sauted it with green bell peppers, onions, and bean sprouts which I had also cut up. then when I made the the rice balls I put about a spoonful of the mixture into them. It was really great!

What!? There is no stork that brings babies?!?!?!? Lies and Slander o.O!:

The rice takes a while to make, but rice balls are easy to make.
Unless your trying to do something unusual, like fry them.

It`s also pretty normal to wrap a sheet of nori around the outside.
Now I really wanna make some... *begins to look on the internet for exact recipes and how to dos*

I'm learning to make these too! I'm going to Borders tomorrow to get a Japanese Cook Book. I have Rice, Salt, Udon Noodles, and Ramen, but I need to get more! And make BENTOS! I love Japanese food, and I need to learn to cook, because in my dream relationship I cook for my dream girl!
